THE DESIGN
The Bashambauer original Bobble was one of our fastest-selling products in our relatively short history. So we decided to invert the colour palette. The Bobble features our tribute design to United's dedicated, resolute and unwavering hero - Chris Basham. "Bashambauer" has played through the good, the bad and the ugly and obtained his well-deserved nickname due to his dynamic displays; reminiscent of those put in by the great Kaiser Franz Beckenbauer for Germany.

This release coincides with Basham marking his 250th appearance for the club. He was named United’s 19/20 Player of the Year following his remarkable season - his first for United at the top level. Forming part of a defence which recorded the lowest amount of goals conceded for a newly-promoted Premier League side, Bash went on to prove many people wrong, including outsiders who had suggested he wouldn’t cut it at such a level. He played a huge part in United’s success further establishing himself in Blades folklore.
